It’s Ethical Investment Week 2017: ‘Make An Impact’ 8-14 Oct

The theme of Ethical Investment Week 2017 is ‘Make An Impact’. It’s all about making a positive difference with your investments! Impact investing is generally defined as “investments made into companies, organizations, and funds with the intention to generate social and environmental impact alongside a financial return”

We are highlighting new developments in the field of Impact Investments, exploring investment options which use a range of ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) criteria to not only exclude unwanted activities (negative screening), but also to focus on activities which make a positive impact to the environment, our society and our communities (positive screening).

Exploring the range of Impact Investment options available in Australia has not only shown a wide range of products & strategies, it has also uncovered investment performance above benchmarks in many cases – over short, medium & long term time frames.
